Purchasing & Delivery Information
How Purchasing Our Beef Shares Works
Buying beef in bulk is the most rewarding, cost-effective way to feed your family, but the process looks a little different than a standard grocery store run. We believe in 100% transparency, so here is exactly how your beef goes from our central Georgia pastures to your family freezer.
Step 1. Secure Your Share with a Deposit:
To reserve your beef, you will place a non-refundable deposit through our website. This secures your animal for our upcoming harvest cycle and allows us to schedule your processing slot.
1/4 Beef Deposit: $125
1/2 Beef Deposit: $250
Whole Beef Deposit: $500
Custom Orders are ONLY available on Half Beef and Whole Beef.
Because this is cut to your exact specs, we ask for a higher deposit than our regular orders.
CUSTOM 1/2 Beef Deposit: $500
1/2 Beef Deposit: $1,000
Step 2. The Harvest & 'Hanging Weight' Calculation:
Once the animal is humanely harvested, it is weighed at our local butcher shop before being dry-aged.
This is called the Hanging Weight, and it is the standard industry baseline we use to calculate your final price.
Our price is all-inclusive, meaning we completely absorb the butcher's harvest fees, cutting, USDA inspection, and vacuum-seal packaging costs so you never get a surprise bill.
1/4 Beef: Base price of $7.25/lb hanging weight (Avg. weight: 225 lbs)
1/2 Beef: Base price of $7.25/lb hanging weight (Avg. weight: 450 lbs)
Whole Beef: Base price of $7.25/lb hanging weight (Avg. weight: 900 lbs)
Step 3. Final Payment & Processing:
The remaining balance is due when your meat is ready for delivery. Delivery usually takes about 8-12 weeks from the time your deposit is placed.
Timing may vary depending on when the animals are ready for harvest.
We will contact you with an estimated delivery date once your order is in progress.
We will send you your final invoice based on the exact hanging weight, minus your initial deposit. Once the final invoice is paid, your beef is ready for delivery.
Step 4.Regional Delivery & Pickup:
We don't ship nationwide to save you from heavy freight costs. Instead, we bring the meat directly to you via our regional community drop routes. We will coordinate a specific date, time, and location to meet you and transfer your frozen, boxed beef straight into your vehicle,
How does delivery/pick-up work?
We make getting your beef simple and convenient.
Customers can meet us at one of our scheduled centralized community pick-up hubs, located throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina.
